Creating Test Case from JIRA

As Test Case is a standard JIRA issue type, you can create a Test Case from the JIRA built-in "Create" button as per the usual process of creating any issue in JIRA.

Fill in the necessary information and hit "Create", and the Test Case issue will be created.

Once the Test Case issue is created, you will see the "Test Step" panel where you will be able to add the Test Steps.

Tips

  • Wiki markup language is supported in 'Test Step' text box.
  • You can use "Copy & Paste" to add screenshot into 'Test Step' text box.
