To make TestRay fits your team/project well, we provide below two levels of configurations:

  • System Configuration: it is a global configuration which is applied to all TestRay enabled Jira projects. The configuration change impacts all Jira TestRay enabled Jira projects.

  • Project Setting: it is a project specific configuration which is applied only for the current project. The configuration change only impacts current project.

  1. User requires Jira Administrator permission to do modifications for ‘System Configuration’.

  2. User requires ‘Test Lead’ role to do modifications for 'Project Setting'.
