Assign Testers

Once Test Cases are added to a Test Plan, Testers in a team should be assigned for test execution. synapseRT provides two levels of Tester assignment actions as listed below:

Assign Testers from Test Plan level

If Test Cases are assigned to Testers from a Test Plan level, any new Test Cycles created will inherit tester information. This means all newly created Test Cycles will have the same assigned Testers. This is time-saving when there are dedicated resources executing on the same set of Test Cases by each Tester across Test Cycles.

If you wish, you can reassign Testers in Test Cycle.

Assign Testers from Test Cycle level

Once you open the Test Cycle page, you can update Tester information for that particular Test Cycle.
