Test Cycle Status

DRAFT

This is the initial status once a Test Cycle is created.

Test Cycle in Draft status is allowed to be deleted.

ACTIVE

This status indicates that the Test Cycle is currently being executed on. All Test Cases that are planned in the Test Plan will be loaded in Active Test Cycle.

Test Cycle in Active status is not allowed to be deleted.

ABORTED

This status indicates that the Test Cycle has been Aborted for some reason; the team will no longer use it. Note that Test Cycle in Aborted status will become read-only, user will not able to execute Test Cases in it.

Test Cycle in Aborted status is allowed to be deleted. 

COMPLETED

This status indicates that Test Case execution for the Test Cycle is complete. Note that Test Cycle in Completed status will become read-only, user will not able to update Test Case result.

Test Cycle in Completed status is not allowed to be deleted.
