Test Plan Summary

Test Plan Summary is kind of a dashboard reporting of the Plans in a given Project.  You will be able to navigate to this page by choosing your Project from the top menu and then by clicking on the 'Test Plan Summary' link on the left navigation.  The main goal of this feature is to bring a quick snapshot picture of the testing progress in a project.

Overview

The overview tab presents trend charts on testing in the past 30 days, it is useful for management team to know the progress and results of testing activities.

Unresolved Plans

This tab presents the list of Unresolved Plans in the Project. These are the plans that are yet to take a Resolution value, i.e. not yet reached an end status in the workflow. These are typically the plans in which the work is in progress.

Resolved Plans

This tab presents the option to search for completed Plans to look at past data and compare them if necessary. Test Case execution has been completed in these Test Plans and ideally no active work will be happening on these plans.

Run Attribute

In 'Run Attribute' tab, user can define additional fields and values which can be selected by Tester during test run. It will provide more information for test run along with other run attributes like Defect, Attachement and Comments etc.
