Test Case Run
Test Case Run is the individual execution instance of a Test Case in the Cycle. Here you will be able to record result of the run, results at each step, time effort of the run, create/link bugs against the execution and attach supporting documents against the execution.

The following are the various system default test results for an execution.
Note: user is allowed to define his own test results by following Test Run Status.
Result | Description |
Not Tested | The test case run is planned to execute, but hasn’t been started by tester yet. It is the default status of new added test case run. |
Passed | The test case run is marked as Passed if application’s actual behavior is consistent with test steps and expected results during test execution. |
Failed | The test case run is marked as Failed if application’s actual behavior is NOT consistent with test steps and expected results during test execution. |
Blocked | If the test case run cannot be executed due to some external dependency (such as a bug caused some steps cannot be done), tester is supposed to mark the test case run to Blocked. |
NA | If the test case run is not applicable for current test cycle, tester is supposed to mark the test case run to NA. |
